What one farm can keep.

A barn is not where you store what you need this week. It is where you put what has to last the winter and the one after it. Twelve thousand five hundred seeds is a working reserve, not a purchase.

This is for the commercial cultivator who needs real numbers and would rather not pay retail to get them, and for the grower who intends to run selections year over year rather than start from scratch every spring. At eight cents a seed you can afford to plant the whole thing and still keep half back.

Three of these exist. When they are gone, the tier comes down.

Generational stock. Enough for you, enough to share, enough to set aside for children who are not old enough to ask for it yet. Split a tier with friends or keep the whole thing yourself. Kept cool, dark and dry, these will still be waking up long after the current fight is settled.
